Terms of Use

Welcome to Plan Camp™. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Plan Camp™ website, platform, software, tools, content, and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Plan Camp™ ("Plan Camp," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Plan Camp™, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding agreement to use Plan Camp™. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Scope of Services
Plan Camp™ is a planning, documentation, and project coordination platform designed to help homeowners and professionals organize project information, prepare planning materials, manage documentation, and coordinate project-related workflows. Plan Camp™ does not provide architectural, engineering, legal, insurance, financial, tax, or contractor services. Plan Camp™ is not a licensed contractor, architect, engineer, attorney, insurance adjuster, broker, or financial advisor. Any content, templates, recommendations, or generated materials provided through the Services are for informational and organizational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

3. No Professional Advice / No Guarantee
Plan Camp™ is a software platform and organizational tool. We do not guarantee construction outcomes, permitting approval, insurance reimbursement, SBA approval, financing decisions, contractor performance, project timelines, legal outcomes, or regulatory compliance. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all plans, bids, contracts, financial decisions, permits, submissions, and professional recommendations before relying on them. You acknowledge that any decisions made based on information generated through Plan Camp™ are made at your own risk.

Plan Camp™ does not guarantee that use of the Services will result in any specific outcome or desired result, including but not limited to permit approval, insurance reimbursement, financing approval, SBA loan approval or increase, grant funding, contractor performance, project completion, cost savings, legal protection, or regulatory compliance. Outcomes depend on numerous factors outside of Plan Camp's control, including user inputs, third-party decisions, market conditions, regulatory requirements, and independent professional review.

4. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your account information as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

5. Subscription, Billing, and Access
Certain features of Plan Camp™ require a paid subscription or paid product purchase. By purchasing a subscription or paid feature, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring or one-time basis, as applicable. Unless otherwise stated:
• Subscription fees are billed in advance
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• Failure to pay may result in restricted access to paid features

If payment fails or a subscription is canceled, users may retain access to previously created documents and records but may lose access to premium tools and interactive platform features. We reserve the right to change pricing, packaging, or access tiers at any time.

Users may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting Plan Camp™ support (hello@plancamp.com). Cancellation will stop future recurring charges but will not retroactively refund prior payments unless required by law. Unless otherwise stated, users will retain access to subscription features through the end of the current billing period.

6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload, submit, or create using Plan Camp™, including project details, documents, photos, narratives, and submissions ("User Content"). By using the Services, you grant Plan Camp™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Services. You represent and warrant that:
• You own or have the right to use and submit User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights
• Your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge

We may remove content that violates these Terms or creates risk for the platform.

7. Professionals and Third-Party Services
Plan Camp™ may allow users to browse, invite, nominate, or connect with third-party professionals, including contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and consultants. Plan Camp™ does not employ, supervise, insure, or control third-party professionals and is not responsible for their conduct, work product, licensing, qualifications, communications, pricing, availability, or outcomes. Any relationship, agreement, or transaction between a user and a third-party professional is solely between those parties. Camp Certified™ indicates that a professional has been reviewed based on information available to Plan Camp™ at the time of review. It is not a guarantee, endorsement, warranty, or representation of future performance. Users are solely responsible for conducting independent diligence before hiring any professional.

8. Documents, Templates, and Generated Content
Plan Camp™ may generate planning documents, blueprints, summaries, contracts, narratives, reports, or templates. These materials are provided as organizational tools and starting points only. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, validating, and obtaining professional review of any generated materials before use. Plan Camp™ makes no warranty that generated content is complete, enforceable, compliant, accurate, or suitable for any specific purpose.

9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purposes
• Misrepresent your identity, role, credentials, or authority
• Upload malicious code or interfere with platform functionality
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform without permission
• Use Plan Camp™ to harass, abuse, or mislead other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

10. Intellectual Property
Plan Camp™, Camp Certified™, and all associated platform content, branding, design, software, workflows, templates, and materials are owned by Plan Camp™ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted.

11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAN CAMP™ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY.

12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAN CAMP™ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, PROJECT DELAYS, FINANCIAL LOSS, PROPERTY LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PLAN CAMP™ IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Plan Camp™, its owner, affiliates, contractors, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
• Your use of the Services
• Your User Content
• Your project decisions
• Your dealings with third parties
• Your violation of these Terms

13a. Cancellation Policy
Users may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting Plan Camp™ support. Cancellation will stop future recurring charges but will not retroactively refund prior payments unless required by law. Unless otherwise stated, users will retain access to subscription features through the end of the current billing period.

14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe a user has violated these Terms or created risk to the platform.

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
